- Prepared techno-commercial offer 100 MTPD Capacity ZINC REFINERY & SMELTING PLANT for LİNEER METAL SANAYİ VE TİCARET A.Ş., ISTANBUL, TURKEY during May – July 2020.
- Project Planning, Equipment Sourcing and Site Supervision in the capacity of Technical Consultant and Supervision of Site Execution, Inspection of 20,000 TPA Lead plant in Indonesia
- Preparation of pending jobs for pre-commissioning & Review of 30,000 TPA Zinc plant of Indonesian client during Nov 2019. The complex having Lead and Zinc plant have Zero solid waste.
- Project Planning, Equipment Sourcing and Site Supervision as a Technical Consultant and Supervision of Site Execution to prepare concept note, major scope includes project cost estimation etc for 250 KTPA Zinc Smelter to be setup by M/s Vedanta International Plc at Gamsberg, South Africa during June – July 2018.
- Project Planning, Equipment Sourcing and Site Supervision as a Technical Consultant and Supervision of Site Execution for Due diligence of Indonesian client who is setting up mini lead and Zinc plant, was carried out on behalf of M/s Nueva Asia Advisors Pte Ltd Singapore (Investor) during April – May 2018.
- Refinery Conversion Project for M/s Skorpion Zinc, Namibia (Vedanta) as a Technical Consultant from Feb 2015 to Oct 2015, worked for Setting up Roaster, Gas cleaning & acid plant. Also expansion of leaching section and debottlenecking of tank house so as to simultaneously treat calcine (ZnO) produced from Roaster. Project under hold. Was also involved for due-diligence of Zinc International during 2010.
- Project report for environmental clearances, Equipment Sourcing and Site Supervision for Project for setting up 100,000 TPA lead plant by M/s HZL at Dariba Rajsamand, using SKS technology from China.
Project Planning, Equipment Sourcing and Site Supervision in the capacity of Project In-charge and Supervision of Site Execution for setting of 400,000 TPA Zinc and 100,000 TPA Lead melting and casting facilities by M/s HZL at Pantnager, Utrakhand, which includes concept to commissioning of plant, along with its Environment clearance. Plant is in operation since Feb 2011. All the activities viz initiating, planning, executing was effectively managed, and project got completed well within time and cost. Performance Guarantee test and contract closure activities were also carried out. The lessons learnt were also prepared to improve the future projects. The project involves 25,000 m3 of RCC, 5,000 MT of structural steel in addition to 2,000 MT of other steel including special steel.
Project Planning, Equipment Sourcing and Site Supervision in the capacity of Project In-charge and Supervision of Site Execution for 210,000 TPA Hydro-Metallurgical Zinc
plant (Phase III) by M/s HZL at Rajpura Dariba, Distt Rajsamand, Rajasthan, and was responsible for conceptual design, Project management, Construction and commissioning of plant which is based on Roast Leach Electro-win route. The plant is in operation since March 2010- Project Planning, Equipment Sourcing and Site Supervision in the capacity of Project In-charge and Supervision of Site Execution for design & construction of 10 TPH, Continuous Galvanizing Grade alloy (Zinc + 0.5 to 5% Al Alloy) by M/s HZL. This includes selection of process technology, review of engineering, erection, commissioning, performance guarantee test run and handing over the plant to operation. Plant is in operation since 2006.
16. Project Planning, Equipment Sourcing and Site Supervision in the capacity of ProjectIncharge and Supervision of Site Execution for Smelter expansion – Commissioning &de-bottlenecking of phase I Project, by M/s HZL at Chanderiya Lead Zinc Smelter, Hindustan Zinc Ltd, Chittorgarh, Rajasthan India to increase plant capacity from 170,000 to 210,000 TPA.
17 Project Planning, Equipment Sourcing and Site Supervision in the capacity of Project In-charge and Supervision of Site Execution for design & construction of 10 TPH, Continuous Galvanizing Grade alloy (Zinc + 0.5 to 5% Al Alloy) by M/s HZL. This includes selection of process technology, review of engineering, erection, commissioning, performance guarantee test run and handing over the plant to operation. Plant is in operation since 2006.
18 Project Planning, Equipment Sourcing and Site Supervision in the capacity of Project In-charge and Supervision of Site Execution of a 210,000 TPA Zinc plant (phase II) by HZL (with M/s Outokumpu- Germany/ Finland as supplier of technology), including Roaster & Acid Plant, Leaching & Purification, Electrolysis, Melting & Casting. The project got completed in a record time. Plant is in operation since Mar 2006.
19 Detailed Engineering Review of technology for recovery of metal values from tailings of Rampura Agucha mines, Rajasthan.
20 Project Planning, Equipment Sourcing and Site Supervision in the capacity of Project In-charge and Supervision of Site Execution for design & construction of a 170,000 TPA Zinc plant (phase I) by M/s HZL (with M/s Outokumpu- Germany as supplier of technology). This also includes Roaster & Acid Plant, Leaching & Purification, Electrolysis, Melting & Casting. Plant is in operation since Sept 2004.
21 In addition to completion of above projects, has also undertaken technical report and notes from concept to commissioning, prepared reports for site selection, cost estimations, board approval for project launching. Key realizations include selection of process technology with M/s Outotec, Germany, evaluation of
various technical options, in house process design, project cost estimation, (the variations was ~5% only) providing details for financial analysis, project reporting, board note, report for environmental clearances, public hearing, MOEF presentation, preparation of tender documents for equipment’s procurement and turn-key packages, technical bid evaluations, order placement, review of engineering, project monitoring, procurement of chemicals for operation, cold commissioning, preparation for commissioning, commissioning of the plant, trouble shooting etc. All the above projects were in Rajasthan only.
22 Project Planning, Equipment Sourcing and Site Supervision in the capacity of Project In-charge and Supervision of Site Execution 10 TPD ore feed Nickel – Technology Proving Plant at Bhubaneswar; the process selected was a partly modified Caron Process. The technology was based on M/s Moa bay Cuba, and responsible for; Activities such as Tendering, cost estimation, finalization of basic engineering, selection of turnkey contractor for supply & erection of equipment’s and plant; Erection, trial run of equipment, including crushing, grinding, multiple hearth furnace, ammonia leaching, operation, commissioning, modifications in process engineering & equipment, continuous operation of 10 TPD ore feed Ni – TPP as a leader of process team and subsequently as unit head. Compilation of plant operating & analytical data & preparation of Know-how Package; Lead of a team for preparation of Basic Process Engineering for Commercial Nickel plant of ~20,00 TPA etc. ( M/s N.L. Piret of Germany was consultant). The project activities got completed by 1999.
23 Project expansion of existing M/s HZL two Zinc Smelters:
Site Execution for Critical Packages for Project expansion by de-bottlenecking of HZL existing two hydro-metallurgical smelters by
10,000 TPA each, (AdZ Spain was basic engineering supplier) by modification/ improvement in process engineering & working environment; the basic engineering
was over by 1998. Technical assistance for Process Engineering, Cost estimation including detailed feasibility study for 100,000 TPA green field Zinc Smelter. (M/s Kvaerner Metals UK was overseas consultant for engineering and cost estimations.) The activities also got completed by 1998.
24 Operation of Zinc Roaster, Leaching and tank house of various units of HZL from 1981 to 1998 as shop floor engineer and plant head.
